This product can be used as a shampoo, but I prefer to use it as a bodywash, as it is slightly scented and tends to foam a little better due to the added essential oils. While it is similar to the Sensitive Skin formula, when used as a shampoo the scent is usually replaced by that of the Hair Conditioner (which contains rosewood and lavender) - which is why I prefer to use an unscented shampoo.
This Body & Hair Cleanser is best used with a loofah or shower sponge to help it foam up, as it contains no SLS or other harmful foaming agents. It has a very nice smell - including sandalwood and Australian native wildflower essential oils - which is not overpowering, leaving your body clean and refreshed. The green colour comes from natural plant chlorophyll (the same pigment that makes leaves green!).
Those with particularly dry skin may wish to add a little virgin oilive oil to the formula to help as a moisturiser. Virgin oilive oil is particularly beneficial for those with common skin conditions, such as dermatitis (eczema). Better still, you may wish to try the Synergistic Blend Natural Olive Oil Soap range, which is specially formulated for those with eczema.
